    [Error Code] Di 7210 SC21-05 ?? can't find

    Can't find this code.
All SC's in Field guide have to do with finisher.
Yet saw a post on a SC21-01 being a charge error.
    What's the -05
    Thanks in advance

Could it be an F21-05 fault?

Thanks Rocky, I'll check that out. What is confusing is in the Field S.M. under error codes -there are a number of SC codes relating to finisher. yet none close to 21-05.

I'll take a look tomorrow at the tran/sep area and the cleaning motor for them

      Happy Thanksgiving

That error usualy relates to the cleaning of the transfer-separation corona. Check the corona for binding (I had one where those plastic guides were badly seated and the cleaning unit would be stuck on them). You can also return the cleaning unit by hand and then disable the cleaning function for that corona by changing software switch 3-4 to 1.

Was DV dumping on trans/sep. Cleaned DV unit, Drum (toner catch plate etc.) turned off trans/sep clean motor. Still dumping DV and toner. towards the rear (within 15 copies got really bad again.

New customer, copier was moved. But properly prepped. Checked DV anyway was not binding -all leveled out. Meter is 525K. DV was replaced at 500K. Drum not replaced.

Not certain what is causing the dv/toner dump.
