    Konica 7085 not centering

    Hello all

we have a 7085 that the image will not center
the printer centering adjustment in 36 mode does nothing
test print 16 is to the left of center 3mm
we adjusted the trays to get it that close to center and for most things this works fine

    there is no codes
and have checked all the sw switches
    sensors are clean w/good connections

    what's next
    Thanks

Something similar happens in my field with a Konica 7085 - IP602, the case is ..
that the automatic centering works well on 36 mode, with 12-3: 0 ofcourse,
but then when printing.. centering problem remains.

      Any problems with the IP602?.

      Then I'll make the adjustment manually.(12-3: 1)

Turn the switch off, then make your adjustments, then turn it back on. Otherwise you are just fighting against the auto adjust.

no problems with the IP602 that I'm aware of
this machine simply won't center no matter what 12-3 is set to

I've done these adjustments on our other 85 and it works perfectly

I do have a parts machine that I could swap parts out of but not sure which parts are involved with the auto centering
