[CQ] light copies on konica 200,250,300

is it the toner? is it the developer? Is it the drum? We have a lot of reapearing problems with these units regarding washed out copies. Sky shots are very faded gray

Is it a Bizhub? Is it Color? Is it BW?

I recently did battle for light copies on a 200 recently. It was caused by the drum unit. (about 15k into the 1st PM) The drum had the normal usual slight ring at the rear that you see on all of these ( I have seen machines down to bare metal that still copy ) Overall light, toner % fine. And I was getting fan codes as well.

I managed to get a used drum to work by messing with the ATDC levels a bit, then returning to original value.

when you replace the drum it is recommended that you replace the developer (DV310) at the same time and then run F8 don't forget to go into the counters and reset the drum and developer double check it sometimes it does not reset.

I nomally change the Developer UNIT, not just the developer (DV310) every other drum replacement.
Saves a lot of call-backs for C/Q problems and any other drum wear troubles.
