    [Error Code] C-1243

I was searching for an answer for c-1243 error on a C6500 - this one has the saddle stitcher, and had gotten jammed. On further inspection, a small belt from the folder to the stitcher had gotten stuck, the fold/score/crease could not cycle - once back on track it all went back to normal. Hope this helps someone else in a panic during while running a book.

Thanks for sharing that with us! Not many guys to that around here
I don't help end-users. Hate me, give me bad reputation, I don't give a rat's a**. Pay a tehnician to solve your problem! We have to live too! What do you do when something hurts? Do you go to a doctor, or do you search it on google/ forums?

Okay do you know where the belt was in the printer?? the location would be nice. its a big printer with the saddler stitch. I also have the same error, after running 80 pound cover thru.
