Xerox Workcentre XD100 E7-03 error

Does Any one know what this error is and a solution to correct it? error E7-03

according to partsdrop.com, it is a laser output error. the site says to make sure right door is closed correctly and try turning off then on to see if code clears. thats all it says. bad laser?

this must be very late but you can try a simple solution. Clean the ads strip at the leading edge of the exposure glass
