    BH162, deviation CD direction.

    BH-162, deviation CD direction.

Machine has a large 10 mm deviation in the CD direction. Copies from the glass can be "corrected" more or less by adjusting the main scanning direction as described in the manual. Copies wit the ADF show also the 10mm error and strangely enough cannot be corrected using the adjustment of the ADF main scanning direction. There is no difference regardless which value I enter.

Even worse, also the machine generated test pattern and prints are 10mm off in the CD direction.

Did I overlook something? Any idea's before investing in a new Laser Printhead?

I had a Sharp Jaguar series with those symptoms. It did require the replacement of the laser unit. It's the most likely choice. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Replaced the PH (laser) with one of a junker Di-1611 and the error went away.
