bizhub 252C scanning troubles

when scanning and i am not getting the panel choice for multi page documents. Is there a SETTING to enable this? On the lcd panel I choose scan. then fyle type, select PDF and still get no choice on the screen for single or multi page. Regardless of choice for fyle type, the lcd panel next to fyle type has no choice for single or multi, the manual shows that choice on the sceen. Why do I not get that selection screen?
