    fs-4000dn error codes

    Good morning,
I have a client with an fs-4000 dn that was plugged into the wall and on when a circuit breaker popped in the room . After resetting the circuit breaker in the electrical panel the printer has CALL SERVICE
7410:0026245 showing in the led panel. I have searched the net to no avail trying to find this code, or a link to a service manual.

    Anyone seen this one?

    Thanks in advance.

    get this alot

the error is for the drum not being set in place remove the process unit and open the left side cover where the drum is located. Remove the toner waste bottle and make sure the drum is pushed in all the way if it is you may need to replace the drum.

      Thanks, all fixed

I did manage to d/l a manual and got the error codes. I removed the drum from that printer and popped into another same model, the unit power up fine. I put the drum back into the the 1st printer and it also power up fine. Just needed to have the drum re-seated i guess. Thanks for the tips and all of the good advice here.

This is extremely common when anything out of the ordinary happens, even adding toner. Some genius has to mess with every little thing before changing the toner, or removing the jam.

          wild_guest: same as above.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

on a printer error code, the first 4 numbers are the actual error. the numbers after that is the page count for the machine. so the same error is for all 3 mentioned machines.
