    bizhub C284 Covers Mode

    Covers Mode seems to have vanished from the Applications screen of the copier. In the driver all the covers mode choices are grayed out.

    Is it possible that the vendor2 designation enabled for the TrueCount has blocked these functions? I seem to remember that vendor2 blocks a number of things to keep it simple for a simple user. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Your Vendor mode is more than likely disabling your cover mode.

      Easy check is to just disable it temporarily to see if the mode comes back.
      Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
