    ineo+220/bizhub c220: smearing at A-3 prints/copies

    Hi there!
Machine smears at A-3 paper (not everytime) looking at the fuser-unit & bang: the entrance-guide (sorry no photo) & the seperator-guide completly build up with melted toner, 3 of the separators were unable to move in any direction. The machine has 50K copies/prints. Never seen such a thing. Removed the mess carefully-OK.
    Greetings...20130502_101051.jpg20130502_101100.jpg

Do they run envelopes or thicker stock? This machine has a belt fed fusing system. It's possible the retraction mechanism is failing in the machine. That or the customer is running a lot of black copies on a thicker setting than needed......
Everyone has the right to be stupid. Some people just abuse this privelage more than others

That's exactly what I was thinking ... or maybe hundreds of heavy fill, heavy paper pages printed on standard media settings. In either case they need to pay closer attention to the media type loaded, and set the appropriate tray with the matching setting. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
