Client has a bizhub 950. It is now scanning documents sporadically. Meaning I can sometimes scan a document (email or smb) sometimes it will go through, other times it won't. When it hangs, now uploading scan data will be shown until it time out. Under send history, it will show error as server connect error. Another tech replaced the printer controller board, I replaced the hdd. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. File size our type doesn't affect it.
Anyone seen this before.. I'm at a loss

When it hangs is there a ping to machine?
Check network - patch cable, switch's port, etc...

Ive had a similar issue and I have had to flash the IP controller. After I flashed it, server connect errors went away. I crossed over with my laptop and tested to see if it was network related but it also failed to My WinXp. Therefore Firmware was last resort.
