    [Jamming] C552 Jam Code 7216

    Hi all,

Went to a C552 with a FS-526 finisher, the prints were jamming every time exiting the fuser half entering the horizontal path with jam code 7216.
I cleaned all the sensors etc & ran 100 test prints all was good. Now the next day it has happened again, jamming every print with code 7216.
Is there anything I may have missed mist visit!?

    Many Thanks.

Does it only happen on multiple sheets of 8.5 x 11? If so it is the gate solenoid.

      Thanks for your reply.

It does appear to be a bit internment, on A4 size paper.

Where is this solenoid in the machine?

it could be the eject drive as the gears and belt wear causing the paper to exit slower. How many copies has the copier done?
also check the rear lever on the lower righthand door these snap.

          Hi,

          Thanks for the info.

Lower door is good as is the exit drive.
As was said above it maybe that the exit guide wasn't miving correctly, I ajusted the spring & now it springs back much better. Have to wait & see now!
