BizHub C250 transfer unit will not reset

Installed a new OEM trans belt & roller kit. Fuse not blowing so replace transfer unit message stays
on display. Tried a different fuse and same thing.
I seem to remember having this same problem a long
time ago when I was working on a lot of this model.
Forgot what the fix was. I suspect the printer
    control board?

    Thanks in advance

Check for P codes and correct if needed

I had the exact same issue, it was the printer control board.

It turned out to be the "mechanical control board", aka "M" pwb (same as the printer control pwb), just named different in this model.

Also you can do this if you have access to another machine: remove left side cover where the "M" board is, remove the small eprom chip, take chip to the other machine with the new transfer unit, swap the chip and transfer belt, turn machine on, it will blow fuse in trans belt and reset trans belt count on chip, remove trans belt & chip, put back in original machine and it will be reset. The chip keeps all the life counts.
