c35 calibration

    c35 calibration

    I have a c35 and when started it is stuck on calibration,and remains like that.Can someone give me a help please?
    the indication on the screen is 'ready to copy, calibration'

    I recently had the HDD cause the machine to lock up, power off the machine, unplug the HDD then power on the machine see if that helps.

    The HDD is easy to get to on the left side, small cover

      ok I try it as soon as i enter workshop.I will let you know.
      do you mean that I have to unplug the HDD and switch it on without HDD?or do you mean to switch off machine,disengage Hdd and clean contacts and reengage Hdd and switch on?

        The C35 will power up to ready either way. If no problem with HDD disconnected, HDD is suspect (could try reformatting). If no problem when reconnecting HDD, consider yourself lucky and pray for no callback.
