[CQ] KM C6501 yellow faints as lower percentage

    dear all,

In a Konica Minolta C6501 yellow print faints (top and bottom mostly) as lower percentage from 100% (page 1) to 50% (page 2) to 20% (page 3).

Corel or Adobe gives no change to result.

drum assy, dev. tank, developer mat., corona already replaced.
Transfer belt and tr. rolls also replaced.
Write unit cleaned (laser unit for most of us...)

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks in advance
    George K.

It's the Y laser unit. There is an adjustment to compensate for it but I am sorry I just can't remember it.
    Try contacting your tech support.
I will try to have a look next week.

I think on the 6501 it's a user adjustment for under color balance. (it's been a while)
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

        Found it. Uneven density adjustment.
