    C5860 Replace toner soon

    Good evening.
    Today I was sent to a Canon iRA DX C5860 that had feint prints & copies.
    The first thing I noticed was the control panel was saying that the C, M & Y toners were low and would need replacing soon. When I checked the toner levels in status the Y was at 60%, the C was at 50% and the M was at 30% so not low.
    The feint prints & copies were nothing to do with toners ...... prints were perfect when I replaced the paper with fresh paper. ( The client had water flowing from the roof to the floor! The whole place was damp, including the paper. )
    I went through the process of stirring all 4 toners but the control panel still says that the 3 colour toners are low.
    Has anyone else seen this.

    This is normal for Canon devices.

    Toner low is counted by the number of pages printed even if all the pages were printed blank with no image on them.

    Update the firmware then you can change when the lower low message is displayed, setting it to display later for example.
