How to upgrade firmware on canon ir2520

Hi all, pls can someone help me how i can upgrade firmware on Canon IR2520 in user mode?
I set my network setings in copier: IP address: 192.168.1.7
subnet mask:255.255.255.0
gateway:192.168.1.1

Then i set DNS: 192.168.1.1
then i go in user mode on last page and pres "system upgrade" buton,
then my copier get restart and show me on screen: network download available
IP address: 192.168.1.7
and do nothing! SRY for my bad english

You most download UST and firmware with canon server.Procedure is in attah.

At first, you have to use Service Support Tool from Canon, firmware for this model...
And Are you technician of Canon?
Hope you can solve your problem.

Hi, and yes im technician of Canon "toantam" and im done with using suport tool, but i heared that canon ir 2520 can update just by setting gatewey.

You don't need SST for this model.This model have UST (user support tool).

I am sorry dont meant to hijack the post but I have a similar problem. Just replaced an canon ir2520 with same model but took the feeder off the old model and connected it on the new machine. Unfortunately, didn't work and my guess is it needs a firmware update. I did all the checks under #SCAN and #FUNCTION there is power to the feeder however, it just prints blanks with lines.

Feeder works on the old machine fine and the settings appear the same. Feeder responds to FEED-ON, FEEDER, MTR-CHK and returns OK and you here it spin and hear noise. The same is not true when connected to new machine.

I tried to upgrade firmware but got stuck on screen: network download available IP address: *******


Does anyone have the right tool for this? Any help would be welcomed.

Hello,
I have a Canon IR 2520i, and every so often (can be multiple times a day, or can work fine for couple days and then again) displays message "network download available IP adress : 192.168.xxx.xxx (it's ip adress allocated to machine)
Message ussually displays after it's "awaken" from standby.
Firmware is up to date:

Network discovery is turned off, and we performed all-clear after upgrade.

Any ideas?

I desperately need the newest firmware for the Canon IR2520. I don't have the Canon SST and Canon UST.

I need firmware and User Support Tool (someone have information where i find UST? i serch via google but i cant finde )
