    Have you met Tiny 11

Microsoft has introduced "Tiny" version of Windows 11. If you have an older PC that didn't quite meet the hardware requirements of Windows you now might an 11 based OS to use.

Is 8GB or RAM enough? Have you tried it out yet?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It's not an official Microsoft product, and has multiple caveats, including the fact that updates may not work or break it.

It's an interesting idea, but at this point why try forcing a modern operating system onto a system that doesn't meet modern specs?

I have the ISO downloading right now and have an IBM laptop I can try it on that did not support Win11.

              Download just finished.

There's a hack to where you can download Windows 11 on a machine that doesn't meet the requirements. I've been running on this PC for over a year...probably closer to 2, and its run flawlessly.

The video this links to isn't exactly clear in many respects: so is this a out of the box laptop that they're using, which likely has all kinds of crapware installed on it? Is it a clean image of Windows 11, which may or may not also install several Microsoft Store apps along with the core OS, which again isn't really a clean install.

                        True!
When Windows 11 was initially introduced, I was using a slightly older Laptop that my Windows 10 would not Update to Windows 11.
Being an independent tech, I really wanted to get it in order to be prepared in case my phone started lighting up with Service calls for scanners failing, etc. as my customers updated their systems.
I specifically sourced a new (refurbished) Laptop that included a processor that was on their "supported" list.
Guess what? I got the same DAMN Message!

Not willing to quit, I did some research and downloaded Rufus and used it to install the New OS by overriding the requirements for Secure boot and TPM.

It worked like a charm on my main (new) Laptop as well as another one that I use on the road, that most certainly didn't meet their supposed "minimum requirements".
                        What a Joke!

In fact, I just used Rufus again with the New 22H2 rollout where I received the same "incompatibility' message in Windows update relating to my processor.

                        F.U MS!

Go ahead and try it out yourself. I've done it and can confirm what is shown in the video. There is less traffic but the highlighted webservers are still contacted.
There is no reason a clean install of windows should contact any server aside their update server. Even if Microsoft is okay with third party doing this on their official downloadable image nd in the same breath telling you that they care about your data security it is complete bullshit.

After all, there are 2 Questions here to be asked i think we can all agree:
Who do i want to trust my data?
                              and
How much do i trust them?

I am bullshitted about microshit anyways so i cant say i am looking neutral on this whole topic
