T830 MFP - main pca replacement: can I replace with "used" main pca?

On a T830 MFP - main pca replacement: Can I replace the main pca with a "used" main pca?

On other T Series models, one cannot use some previously "used" parts. I presently have no idea regarding the T830 main pca. I skimmed the manual; nothing stood out to me regarding this matter.

The board must be initialized to be accepted in the new machine. Hytec has the ability to do this.
