IC-408 comes embedded with the machine it is a fiery but is listed as optional. You get 2 other external controllers. If the external controller malfunction you need to change the controler setting and use the internal one. You would have to recalibrate if color matching is poor.

The brochure shows a system without any optional controllers. And the only driver available is a PS3 driver.

    so i am guessing yes.

      Hi,
The answer is no. You need a RIP to be able to print. There are four options
      IC-408 (EFI embedded Rip).
IC-303 (early EFI Server type Rip).
IC-305 (replacement EFI server type Rip for the IC-303).
      IC-304 (Creo server type Rip)
If you have a production configuration (any of the large production options FD-503,SD-506, FS-521) then the IC-408 will not work.

      Hope this helps

Ok so there is a possibility to use the machine without any controler. Could guide me to change the controler settings.
