    [Error Code] KM bizhub PRO c6000l error c-4501

    So I was doing a Both Sides Adjustment and my machine threw a C-4501 error. After restarting the machine it started to throw this same error on startup.

    After some digging on the internet and variuos forums I saw that I can disable auto color registration (DIPSW 25-3 and 25-4) now my Y is ever so slightly skewed. I can certainly live with that but would like to fix the issue that causes the C-4501 and run auto color registration adjustment without errors.

    I found to many causes and solution to really know what's going on. Maybe one of you already dealt with this problem and can help me so I don.t have to pull out all my hair .

      I changed a yellow laser for this error. =^..^=

          I've seen people write about cleaning the laser unit and that sometimes fixes the problem.

          Since Konica technicians don't really like to go out on service calls to small print-shops and thus I'm my own technician, could you maybe tell me how to get to the laser tow clean/swap it?

              There are lots of ways this can go wrong. Please find somebody with experience to do this. =^..^=

                  Is there any big problem running it like this for now? I suspect that there may be some toner on some kind of sensor, since the inside is not the cleanest.

                  I have experience servicing inkjet and laser machines, it's just my first KM of this caliber and I don't have the service manual on hand.

                      If you can get prints, it won't be causing harm to the machine. =^..^=

                          Yeah, the prints are mostly fine, Y is a tiny bit skewed but if you don't know about it you can't notice.

                          I've been trying to find a KM tech but none are interested to go out and service a machine without a KM warranty. At least in my country KM are very picky where they go on service calls and since I bought my machine from another print-shop there is no service contract or warranty

                              I just don't want to see you inadvertently make the issue worse. Good choice searching for a qualified tech. =^..^=
