    M3660/M3655 idn DP TX/RX sensor

OK, so can anbody tell me what the TX/RX sensors do in a Dual scan M3660idn???
As they are not in the M3655idn dual scan feeder and the DP's themselves have different part numbers completely.
Can a 3660 feeder be put on a 3655???? will it code of the TX/RX connector isn't plugged in??
Like why would they do that. No explanation in the service manual as to what the sensors do...
    Thanks.....

Thank for all the input. lol so it turns out they are Multifeed Transponder and receivers. Feeder will not function with Connector unplugged fror them C-9200.
Will not fit the 3655idn or vise versa.

When I saw your post yesterday, I looked trough the PolarisI manual (I don't have the PolarisII manual). PolarisI does not use this sensor ... but of course, you already know that. Sorry, nothing more that I could add to that. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thank you anyway sir. As it turns out, the DP from the 3660idn will work on the 3655idn but not the other way around. Just in case you have the issue ( top cover jam removal) pivot in rear cracked in pieces. The base assy' or I'll call it transport assy it pivots on is not avail. Figures... Have to order a complete feeder......SUXXXXX

I'm not that surprised. The frames on the smaller feeders have been an issue for a while. There just is not enough metal frame (or none at all) to support the rear posts. Congratulations on finding a solution. =^..^=

The m3655 is always breaking the adf frames and hinges.
Kyocera has a bulletin that tells us to install the old m3550 hinges to
            solve the breaking frame problem.
