    Km-3050 f26f error

    Hi All
Have any of you come across this code F26F and actually found an answer?
I have read the discription on the "fritz list" but seems a bit vauge, apart that its to do with the print system.
There is a bit more to add on the error log there are CF620 codes also and we had a report from a tech I know that this code in his case was caused by a shorted N/W cable. I am just wondering if they can be related one causing the other. we are going to change the N/W cable for now and monitor the m/c.
But if any of you guys have been down this road before I would appreciate any info.

I haven't seen the cf26F error, but as cf620 goes you might try updating the print driver or changing emulation. What version of the driver are you running? What level firmware?

I had a Stratos machine once that gave me cf620 only when printing duplex. Changing the emulation at the driver from PCL5e to PCL XL solved this issue. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Hi Blackcat, sorry for the delay in replying. It has the latest firmware but the tech who went to the call cant remember the driver version. so far we have not had a recall to the m/c but if we do i will ask the tech to change the emulation. and will post any resolve info.

      cheers
