Oki mc362w repetitive vertical cyan mark

    Hi everybody,

I got an Oki mc362w color laser printer with a very low page count.
Everything looks great, but each printed page has a repetitive vertical cyan mark.

The repetitions occur every 30mm, and the service manual says it's the developing roller, and that it should be replaced.

The problem I'm facing is that the drum unit seems like it's not meant to be repaired:
No instructions in the service manual for disassembling it (at least, not that I've found), and no
part number for the developing roller. Getting a new drum unit doesn't make sense economically.

I'm almost positive that if I just clean it up (the roller or the wiper), it'll come back to life again.

Any assistance will be highly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    - Barak

It's probably a scratched drum, unless there's something stuck (rarely), I think you'll need to replace the whole drum assembly

I disassembled the drum block for the mc 352 quite easily. It seems to me that the charge roller(PCR) is guilty

in fact, if the distance between one printed defect and another corresponds to the diameter of the roller, the culprit is him.
