    aficio mp c 305

    it works just fine throw bypass but in try one it jam ,one paper stuck on fuser and the other jam on the try,it shows like they met in front of itb then it shows j057

    any suggestions,thanks alot

    get a service manual

    make sure your paper size and type match what the machine thinks it has in it

      +1 on this. Make sure the size isn't "hard set" in user tools.
      Paper loaded correctly?
      Make sure the little gray end fence and your side fences are in correct position (should be touching the stack of paper).
      Feed Roller Cleaned? Transport sensors cleaned?

      These are literally the only things it could be!

        J057 is a trail edge lag. Either the paper in tray 1 is longer than what the size is set for or you are have problems with paper separation on tray 1.

            Hello everybody.
            I had this problem the other week, and after tests and more tests, exchanges and more exchanges, I solved the problem with a paper feed clutch. There is an engine that feeds the paper circuit and next to that engine is a series of clutches, the paper feed was the one that was causing this. He pulled a leaf and didn't hang up in time and started pulling the second.

              Is there an easy wat to get the paper feed clutch out? It looks like it is behind the PSU and you basically have to remove everything to get to it.

                yes it is a bit annoying to get there
                1. Controller box
                2. PSU
                3. Fusing motor
                4. Paper transport motor
                5. HVPS (PCDU)
                6. ITB
                7. Paper transport unit
