    ProC5200 finisher sr5080

ProC5200 finisher sr5080 issue. it doesn't fold in the proper position. the settings on the PC for the print job are set correctly. i did find a spring that came off of the jogger. got it back into position. the fold should be in the middle of the document. but it seems to fold as if it were doing a tri-fold. but only in one position, not both. i have lubricated the shafts located around the saddle stitch staple unit. i am also looking around on ricohs website for an actual service manual for the finisher itself. anyone got any suggestions on what else i might do? thanks

Which Ricoh website? If you have access to rfg-esource, go there and search SR5080. That should bring should everything related to that finisher. Everything listed on TSRC is stored on rfg-esource but TSRC does not link to everything on rfg-esource

There should also be fold position adjustments in the C5200 service manual SP settings and in the Skilled Operator manual. My guess is that someone has been playing around in the Skilled Operator settings.

thanks for the info. yes i can access both rfg and tsrc sites. i don't recall hearing of the skilled operator settings before, can you clarify please? and since i don't know how to adjust it, i don't believe the lady running the jobs has an idea what that is. feel free to send me a private message, if needed. i don't believe in posting things that should not be made to the general public.

The CIP training manual for Skilled Operators might be referenced in the Product Support Guide for the C5200. Hard copy should be included in the TCRU Kits (Trained Customer Replacement Units). Should be available from rfg. If you can't find it, PM me and I will send a link top where I found it, being retired I no longer have access to Ricoh-USA technician sites.
