    IMC3000 timer settings getting reset

    Hi all

Not sure if this is an easy silly fix or not, but I have never had this issue before, as soon as you switch the machine off and then back on the timer settings automatically reset, no other settings are changed besides the timer settings, client has streamline software (which I am assuming could be part of the issue) as their initial problem was that as soon as they login and print their jobs, the machine automatically logs out of their profile and deletes the jobs that were in the queue, anyone know about this? thanks in advance

Have you tried updating the firmware? It seems like a software problem.
When you turn off the device, does it turn off with the typical timer of 3 or 6 minutes? Or does it turn off instantly?

Hi yes latest package updated, the machine shows the general switching off screen where it says estimated time 5 minutes or whatever it usually is

Right now I don't remember if this model still indicates with an "Apply" or "Accept" button, so that the configuration is saved.
Try changing the information, and wait 2 or 3 minutes, exit the menu completely until you return to the main screen and re-enter the settings and check if the settings remain. If it remains, turn off and on.

Do you have the same model? How did you change it?

We utilize the SLNX server for monitoring our fleet at a customers, but we do not have the SLNX client installed on the devices. Something that can be checked is if the SLNX management extension is activated and being used on the server, if so you gain the ability to modify the timer settings on the machine. otherwise just your standard energy saver mode and function reset timers are changeable with the server. There could be a configuration profile that is being pushed to the devices on a schedule that is changing the TIMER settings. But I doubt it considering the settings are back to previous values with just a simple restart. I'm unaware of a config profile push that can occur with a device restart, but the client could be calling upon the server for the settings config and updating once the client cones online. You can check this behavior by chaning the timer settings, then unplugging the network cord and restarting the machine to see if the changes persist.
