Equitrac on Sharp MX6070V

Hi guys,

Machine was working, then one day, Machine had this message - moved to adhoc authentication mode, as access to the accounting server not allowed. The machine can be used.But please contact your administrator.

We tried rechecking all configs/settings but nothing was changed and customer's I.T. had no idea how did it happened.
Machine is now asking for login name & password but it was setup only for login PIN. If we reboot the machine, the equitrac login screen will appear (sometimes) but its telling password is incorrect?

Thanks guys for reading this thread, Machine is now up and running except the use of card reader.
Any thoughts why my card reader is not detected by the machine? (previously plugged to a Ricoh device).
Tried also a new card but got the same message - The device is not connected or the connected device can not be registered as an authentication card reader. Please confirm the device.

The installation manual has instructions for adding an IC card reader.
