BP-70C45 No power after removing jam

Hey guys asking this question due to tech support was not much help.

New out of box BP-70C45 at end user site less than 2 weeks and has a bad DC power supply (it is on a Innova surge protector).
End user described: While making copies, printer jams after removing jam and closing doors they have no display or hear any motors coming from printer.

I arrive on site and sure enough nothing. I pull the rarely used meter and check wall voltage a constant 120vac. move up line to check line voltage at AC board getting my 120vac.
Move to output of AC board getting 120vac on output. Follow line voltage to DC board getting my 120vac on the input. That is when I found FU101 bad.
Call TAC they say check fuses on both AC and DC board I report done. Ask what would cause that fuse to blow on that board upon door closure. Of course no answer just do a warranty return.

So I ask you all for possible causes that would create power surge to take out that fuse?

Re: BP-70C45 No power after removing jam

So to end this thread. After going component level found a voltage rectifier shorted thus blowing fuse F001. DC board was replaced and I added a line monitor just to see if dirty power or power surge are present.
Up for a week and still going.
