If that list didn't include the HDD, that's what you should have done first. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

How old is firmware on machine? Why do you need to format HDD?
Just asking because if you just want to set machine back to factory defaults there is 08 codes to do this! Only if firmware is at a newer level.
SORRY!

Well, I had researched the F101 error, sounded like a hard drive error, then I found a video on how to fix it....they say to reformat hard drive, then reload firmware from flash drive. If there's an easier way, please share it with me....Comment

Did you come here to get good advice? This is it:
Reformatting the HDD then reloading firmware will not solve a F101.
Replacing the HDD then reloading the firmware will solve your F101. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.

5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
