    E-Studio 2050c color registration issues

I have a 2050c that the colors are not in registration. The K is on but all of the CMY are off about 3mm. I have no error codes but any color output (both copied and printed) is off reg. I have entered into service mode to do a (05-4719) procedure but will not complete and renders a CA00 error code. I am using genuine toshiba toner there is about 52k total clicks on the unit.

    Thank-you

I suspect that color registration is turned OFF, because it was generating codes. If you turn color registration back ON you will need to solve the code issues. Go to 08-4546 and set to '1' (ON). Restart the machine. When it goes into the CA00 code carefully remove the primary transfer belt assy without disturbing the latent patch images. Examine the patches to determine which patches are imperfectly formed. That will help you determine which color units that you'll need to look at.

Every once in a while I get a call from somebody who wants to disable auto-color calibration on a machine. They say that the color registration won't matter that much. It definitely does matter that much. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thank you for this I will give that a go. Also, I was a Xerox tech in the past but never worked on Toshiba. I was going to use the cleaning wand (for the LED units I presume) and it will only go in about 1/4" and the manual seems to indicate that it will go all the way in. Am I doing this right? Do I have the correct wand?

      Thanks again!

The opening for the LED print head cleaning wand usually doesn't quite line up with the LED print head. If you insert the wand at an angle slightly below level, and slightly left or right, you can find just the correct angle that it inserts all the way.

If you are using the wand inserted into the front door, it should be the right one.
