Xerox D125 error code 042-312

hello and good day everyone, I just want to ask if anyone encountered and solve Xerox D125 error code 042-312
I already check all the fuse in the IO board all are good and also replaced the duplex solenoid. The two fans at the back of the machine are also working. Can anyone give an idea about the error..

sorry to bother you but I dont have the manual of the machine. If you can send the image of the said intake fan maybe It will help me to locate it in the machine

I dont have the manual because I am not a technician from the distributor. Im an in house tech/operator of the machine of the college so im just checking what are the available guide online

The fan is located above the cylinder module. It have a filter on top of the fan.
Power off the machine. Remove drum unit an leave the front door open. Remove front top inner cover and will see the filter. Remove the filter and check fan for obstruction. If this is ok you must change the fan.
It is very good ideea to have service manual when you try to fix Xerox machine.

Thanks for the inputs. I found it and interchange the fan from the other Xerox D125 which is working fine. After interchanging the said fan the error still pop up

Thanks again for the inputs. Maybe Il just tell my boss to call for service rep from the supplier to check further the error and identify which exact parts are needed to be replace

42-312 error code point to this fan not working. It rotation is monitorized by mcu. You can check the fan wires.
First power on the machine with front top inner cover off and observe if the fan rotate. It is power with 24Vdc.

Hello, I just follow what you instruct and notice that the fan is not working on the D125 with error code but upon removing the fan and test it in the other unit it works fine. Does the MCU the one supplying power or sending signal to the fan?
