Xerox Phaser 5550 will not print landscape PDF can't choose 11" x 17" or ledger WIN7

    Xerox Phaser 5550 will not print landscape PDF can't choose 11" x 17" or ledger WIN7

    Hello, Client is using Windows 7 and was able to print 11" x 17" on his old HP which quit on him.
    I installed this 5550 and it will not print his 8 1/2 v 11 Adobe PDF in landscape enlarged to 11" x 17". I cannot find either ledger or 11" x 17" in the paper tray size options. Just tabloid, which is not working either.
    It just prints 8 1/2 x 11 in portrait which is sideways in the middle on the ledger paper.
    Can someone direct me to which size would match both the driver and the machine's setting and successfully print his documents? Or anything else I am missing. I am using the Windows 7 Driver from the Xerox Website.
    The machine does have Postscript.

      Well very strange, I pulled the machine out of where it was and set it up at my office and it prints 11" x 17" fine. No issues. I used tabloid as the paper size as there is no 11" x 17" size option for some reason.
      I don't know if it was his PDF or his PC but the machine is working.
      Such a huge waste of time for me!
      Case closed but never solved.

          I think that I would have tried different print drivers. Technically "tabloid" is the correct name for 11x17 SEF. "Ledger" is the correct name for 11x17 LEF (as far as I know, none of our machines will feed true ledger). =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
