Xerox 700 - 093-317 nvm reset code

Hi

I have a Xerox 700 that seems to be stuck with the 093-317 error, seems like one of the black toners ran empty and triggered and users reset the printer and number of times now the code is stuck.

Can anyone advise which nvm code can reset this to 0 to get the printer back?

Is there a reset required once the dispenser motor has been replaced.

I had ordered the motor and while i was waiting on it we had been resetting the error and the machine was continuing to print fine.

Now the black image on the print outs is dull looking, compared to what it had been just a few days ago.

Would there be any other resets i'm supposed to have carried out before or after fitting the new dispenser motor?

You should check black developer assy.
You can check motor from diqgnostic

Issue seems to be relating to the developer, i have new developer powder to replace.

Do I need to reset any codes i'f i'm only replacing the dev powder, not the dev unit itself?

I can just clean out the old powder and replace with new and restart the device?

If developer assy is empty or overfilled then first check gears on it

the developer isnt empty the print quality on black is just very poor, i've reset the NVM code after replacing the dispenser motor but it remains poor.
i was thinking the developer powder is the issue

Developer powder do not have anything with that code. Chech no toner sensor. Do you have roner in dispenser

I'm not sure how to check the no toner sensor.

The dispenser test appears to run fine, the black image thats printed out just looks very dull.

This happened before we changed the dispenser motor, like the developer had been starved of toner.

New motor in place now so assume error 093-317 is repaired, but black image remains very poor

Check the wires and connection with low toner sensor and replace sensor if checkings are ok.
Before you did changed the motor was a good ideea to check it. Probably no the motor was the culprit but low toner sensor. Now you have very litlle toner into developer because sensor dont function properly.

Hi Guys

Can anyone describe to me where the low toner sensor is and how i can check its functionality?

I continue to have a repeating black dispenser fault after i have changed motor

Replace black dispenser, sensor is on dispenser housing.
Sensor cleaner is broken.
First step, find service manual
