The 700i edoc says set nvm 744-316 to 0, not 744-315. It states to check fuser heat sensors and fuser drawer connector for bent pins, dirt, or burnout. Then to replace fuser assembly.

        Procedure
It may be necessary to set NVM [744-361] to 0 in order to clear this failure.

Check that there is no foreign object on the Heat Roll surface and no paper wound around it.

Check the Fuser Sensors are free of dirt.

Check that the Drawer Connectors connecting the Fuser Unit and the main unit are free from bent pins, foreign objects and burnout.

Replace the Fuser Assy ( PL 8.1)

Oh, I knew that, but just wanted to get the feedback. so here is a question. Is there a UI mode for the 700 and 700i and can a tech troubleshoot or test some functions of the machine in this mode.

Just learning about this machine, so be patient.
