Thanks my friend, I did try it, even removed the whole harness and tried it on another machine. NO LUCK. The only other thing that I now can think of is that there is maybe another circuit tha runs on the loop back to show that the Duplex isn't present. I've bridged pin 1 and 2, as that is the loop back to show that Duplex is present and still no duplex. Appreciate your input, thanx. Eugene
