Many manufacturers are touchy about this. There is the feeling that if the manufacturer reveals that there are too many problems with a particular model, the techs will recommend against placing these machines. When in fact, techs only recommend not placing particular models only when the manufacturer continues to deny that there are any problems, when they are plainly obvious to everybody. It just makes the manufacturer look inept, self-deluding.
The only models that I need to pay special attention to corona wires is the CS-8030's, and since I was advised to use the gold primary charge wire, there really isn't much of a problem. =^..^=
