    NP6230

I use NP6230 as a backup machine but it cannot pull paper from any (upper/lower) drawers, bypass is fine.
And also wasteful of drum (no long life drum). almost one third part of A3 sized copied paper lightly black.
What part inside there should I replace and how?

100% agree. These feed units are definitely not as friendly as the newer ones. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Thanks all,
Unfortunately I'am +/-50km away from nearest local tech. I have cleaned up the blanking exposure assembly and resulted good copy but new problem 'E002' came up. Look like I have to wait a good tech willing to come.

        E002
        Thermistor (THI; poor contact,open circuit)
        Heater (Hl, H2; open circuit)
Thermal switch (TSI ; open circuit)
        SSR (faulty)
        DC controller PCB (faulty)
        (Notes 1,2)
When an error associated with ‘E002’ is detected, the copier turns off the power
switch in 2 sec and and then turns off all power supplies.

        E000-E001-E002-and ‘E003-
To reset these error codes, select
‘ERROR’ in service mode (*4*), and press the OK key. This arrangement is adopted to prevent the user from casually resetting the machine when the cause of the error is an open circuit in the thermistor, thereby protecting the rollers inside the fixing assembly against heat damage.
If ‘E00-E001-E002-or E003’ is detected, the machine forces off the power switch in about 20 sec.
In the case of ‘E202’ and ‘E204’, you may obtain details under ‘ERR’ in service mode (*I*)

          Yes!
Thanks teckat, I did *4* procedure and I can operate the machine now.
I've read the service manual previously but I like *4* and postponed to check TH1 etc. (I'll check later)
          Thanks again.
