[CQ] Repeat image in Canon iR 3225

Dear friends ,
sample attached..

I am facing CQ problem in one of Canon iR 3225. Image is getting printed repeat in both direction X & Y . this is happening in copying , printing and in self print also.replaced drum unit, upgraded systems software but of no use. anybody has faced such problem ..pls help. m/c is 6 lacs old.This problem is happening in once in 10-20 copies/prints. some time it is overlaping printing like same image is printing on twice in a single cycle...need help

I agree.To good repeating for drum ghost or fix issue.

do i need to replace unit or can be repaired?

you can crack it open and take a look but if the motor is off or the shaft is not spinning correctly you will be fighting the same issue again.

are you 100% sure about main controlller..as the cost of board is almost 50 % of the main machine.i have ask for laser scanner assu.

Hello, got same problem on a 3225, did the new laser unit solved the problem ? Unfortunatly it's different from a 2270/2870 so i'll have to order one, but i'd like to be sure that it's the right part that cause the problem, if not i'll try to order main controller.
