Error Code C-6756 in ineo +454e

    hello ,

the machine takes a long time to start

then after it starts i get this error c-6756

i choose continue to ignore the error it says that the original scan function will be deactivated

so i have to switch off and on the sub-power

when i switch it on nothing happens just black screen ... it seems that error can't be ignored

    - i isolated the scan in service mode the machine freezes at first start

    - i noticed that i couldn't hear any sound of the motors moving that i hear normally when i start it nothing moves at all ,

have you ever experienced this error ?

this is what i found in service manual :

i appreciate any suggestion on this ,

    thank you very much

There was a tech bulletin regarding trapped wires in the scanner unit, around the CCD area, the metal cable clamp was too tight. You might ant to check that.

thank you for replying i will take a look to that

do you think that could prevent all the motors from starting ?

i checked it and it seemed normal no trapped wires

thank you very much for your advice,

what i will do next is to remove the CCD board (CCDB), Scanner drive board (SCDB) and DC power supply (DCPU) from an other machine and try them on this one , hope i will find the faulty board

          hello ,

          update :

i checked all the wires and changed all the boards and still the same error c-6756 ,

i noticed after switching on the power button the printer doesn't make the smallest sound just scary silence

NO fan is turning and NO motor is moving !

have anybody ever experienced that or have any idea how to solve it ?

any suggestions are very much appreciated , thank you

I'd be pulling out the volt meter at this point and checking all outputs from the dc power supply are actually present. 5v rail to mfp board is all thats needed for mfp board and panel to start in deathly silence.

              hello,

thank you for your suggestion , i said that i changed the power supply board with other one from other machine so the problem is not in the board itself , so you are saying that the wires relating DC power supply board with the other boards maybe faulty ?

i tried to follow every rail to its destination in the machine and in the wiring diagram but i just could to test one or two rails !
              dcpu.jpg

              for example 17 2-Q , 14 24-I , 15 24-L how can i find this in the other board and what board ?

thank you for any suggestions or advices

Re: Error Code C-6756 in ineo +454e

Here's another thing to try that might help:

                  Error
                  Abort code CF907 and/or error code C6756.

                  Failed ErP board (PWB-DC assembly)
                  .
Check CN2 on ERPB for proper connection. Check CN2-1 and CN2-2 for 5V DC then check CN2-3 (Power monitor in) and CN2-4 (Power monitor out). If all voltages are present, replace the ERPB (p/n A161H00C02).

Id take this back to basics.... try a trouble reset function to see if the display will come to life and if it does UNSET the scanner again. First rule is if it was working before you changed something then you caused the fault.
If the machine does not boot i advise going through the troubleshooting guide for the no boot SSD problems TNEU1400013EN. It also notes in here a C-6756 code issue, which states to do a system error clear.

                          hello ,

                          update :

i replaced the mfp board and the ssd board from an other machine and the machine started with fans and motors and everything

so i assumed that i have to change the MFP board for this machine

then i put its old MFPB back and weirdly starts (motors & fans were not making any sound at first )

now the machine starts but i get this error and i'm not able to remove it : C- E301

anybody have any idea about this C- E301 ?

                          thank you
