[Misc] Access C284e CE Mode remotely

Hi all,

Quick question, I need to change a few service mode settingswithout visiting site, is this possible? If so how should I go about it pls?

FTOMH
Remote to clients PC.
Login as admin to the MFP.
Set up new certificate.
Enable SSL
Enable Remote panel
Exit login as admin

Now log in via remote panel
Https://ip adress:50443/panel/top.html

Now navigate as if you are in front of machine.
Sometimes you may have to hit refresh to update the screen.
When you are finished ENSURE you EXIT and most importantly CLOSE the browser window. As sometimes the machines is still hooked and may hang in remote operation.

You will only get the remote panel settings section if the CE password is enabled. And you want to turn on "remote panel client", not server. Emujo

I tried it this morning because I never tried before. Had a demo unit with ssl already on. I turned the CE password to on. I turned on the Remote panel server to On and used the link Https://ip adress:50443/panel/top.html

It worked pretty good.
