Former RNC chairman endorses Joe Biden for president


Marc Racicot, a former governor of Montana as well as an ex-chairman of the Republican National Committee, endorsed Democratic nominee Joe Biden for president in an interview this week.

“Even as a Republican, I will not be supporting Donald Trump for president, and I will not be voting for him,” Racicot, 72, told Home Ground Radio host Brian Kahn. “That means that I’ll be voting for Joe Biden for president.”

Racicot added that he did not expect to agree with many of Biden’s policies. But he said “the content of a man's character” was “more important than any other issue.”

He had publicly refused to vote for Trump in the 2016 election and said that he now has “even more grave doubts” about the Republican candidate.

Racicot became RNC chairman in 2002, a midterm election year.

The two Secret Service agents who were in the vehicle transporting Trump during his brief hand wave to supporters outside Walter Reed hospital yesterday are now forced into quarantine so as not to put other co-workers at risk.

Secret Service agents have a right to refuse to perform acts that they feel will put the President's health at risk but they do not have the right to refuse acts that put their own health at risk.

... how will he be like Biden? Biden does not have COVID-19 and appears to be in good health and solid mental ability.

The point is the most powerful man on earth, the President of the United States, is on a never used before powerful trio of drugs that has unknown side effects that could effect his mental ability. Usually the true effects on a person's health from COVID-19 do not manifest themselves until 7-10 days after the initial infection. Trump is a 74 year old overweight man. He appears to claim that he feels well now but what will his health be like by Friday of this week?

Good morning, sunshine. First things first: I advise everyone not to watch that video before you eat breakfast. It will kill your appetite.

Expanding the court, as the gentleman in the video says, requires a constitutional amendment. That's not gonna happen. Google it.

In the course of 24 hours, you changed your stance and now realize that republicans do have the votes to replace RGB and it's gonna happen. That's progress.

Keep the dream alive that democrats will expand the court. I understand that everyone needs hope.

Changing the number of justices on SCOTUS is one of the Constitutional controls that Congress has over the Judiciary Branch of government. Basic civics that was taught in grade school when I was growing up but no longer is. Official number of justices has been as low as 5 and as high as 11 maybe 13. The last time it was increased was in the early 1930s during the Great Depression. The early laws passed by Congress and signed by the President were rejected by SCOTUS. Congress increased the number of justices to 11 creating openings. FDR filled those openings and his New Deal programs were then approved. The number was later changed to the current 9 and allowed to reach that number by not filling the next 2 times a justice either retired or died.

Actually it is three powerful antibiotics in a combination that has been in tests already for treating COVID-19 just not yet approved for general public use. Based on the rapid recovery of the President it just might become the treatment of choice.

The fact remains that President Trump is now a human guinea pig receiving a regular dose of experimental drugs none of which are approved by the US Food & Drug Administration.

What if this drug experimental prescription continues for months?

Can anyone honestly risk the President of the USA to be on experimental drugs? VP Pence might well have to receive the transfer of power.

If we were talking about any person other than Donald Trump they would be kept in hospital for an extended observation.
