More cut and paste from no-thought-BSM.

Imagine -- all those thousands of complaints, and yet those financial institutions remain as powerful and as rich as always. That goes to show just how ineffective and useless the entire thing was.

      Good riddance.

YUP WHO needs Protection. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is an agency of the United States government responsible for consumer protection in the financial sector. CFPB jurisdiction includes banks, credit unions, securities firms, payday lenders, mortgage-servicing operations, foreclosure relief services, debt collectors and other financial companies operating in the United States.

Wells Fargo fined $1 billion for abusive consumer loans

Wells Fargo (WFC) will pay $1 billion to settle federal charges into consumer abuses related to its auto lending and mortgage businesses, the U.S. government said Friday. The action comes less than two years after Wells was fined nearly $200 million for illegally opening millions of phony deposit and credit card accounts.
Wells Fargo violated the law in how it charged fees over locking in mortgage interest rates beyond the standard guaranteed window, and by operating a mandatory insurance program that increased insurance costs and fees for some borrowers' auto loans, possibly contributing to thousands of cars being repossessed, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said.

The reason I don't like trump is because he is morally bankrupt and seems to dislike poor people like most republican politicians.

So, your solution is to just give up? Without some kind of watchdog the banks will get worse.

              Oh...dear god ....

So you really believe that money the financial system really exists? Money only exists inside peoples thoughts or belief.

The plants an animals have being living on earth for around 250million years. The million year evolution of life itself has never required a bank account or deposit book.
Only homoerectus(man) can put a finite limited control or wealth system on the evolution of life, it serves his twisted sense of self purpose in search of his own purpose and direction.

A real definition of Financial Wealth:
Inside the old banking system there was a corporate level of office management where the upper financial management where given an honorary Gold Platinum Credit card.
The value of this honorary Gold Double Platinum Credit use to have a limit of $50,000 per month $50K. After the credit card was maxed out for the month, the credit card was zeroed out free of cost or charges. Repeat again:-- The Gold Platinum Card was zeroed out at the end of the month FREE,GRATIS,NIL,NO CHARGE, NO DEBT,NO RETURN MONEY... The Honorary Gold Platinum Card was better than winning the Lottery... The same Gold Platinum card must be valued at a lot more today.

Why a free credit card? Because money really does not exist, money is created out of thin air. Money is only an accounting entry on a computer. Money has only the illusionary value that people give it. (see ego/greed in dictionary)

Blockchain (AKA BitCoin) will see banks fumble an stumble in the future. Many people will come to realise that money is only an arbitrary value of exchange, a value which is for every changing according to supply and demand.

As I've said before-- The human spirit or soul is the only real value system. It is the only real value system you get to take with you when you move on to greener pastures.

My solution is to get rid of something that isn't working and to move on to a better way. You don't keep pumping money into something that has become part of the problem.

Not true...if the carpet in your living room is on fire, you do not wait until the new carpet arrives before you try to get the burning carpet out of the house.

If your carpet is on fire you have more problems then what to replace it with.
If you are buying a new car to get to work you don't get rid of the first one before getting the new one. Just common sense. Something lacking in most governments.
