    Copier pay back....

Have you ever had a machine that just beat you down? Ruined you day or week? Perhaps lost an account because of machine breaking all the time......

Here is something that can make it feel a little better:

I know these types of shredding videos have been around a long time but always feels good to see it again

        Oh, crap!

        You shredded the wrong machine!

The bad one is over here!

Any way to get it back?

              Good grief!

              I remember those crazy things.

And the DAC running OS/2. The horror!

I would absolutely love to get in touch with a business that would do that, utterly destroy an MFP, but I would also want the remnants melted down and shaped into a cube which I could then package, gift wrap, and deliver to a customer sometime after they had replaced their machine. ("Our old machine was so much better at _____.") Well, now it's an unnecessarily large paperweight. Enjoy!

That's weird, the copier in the video didn't bleed at all? I mean no toner dusting?

Maybe they cleaned it first so that it wouldn't contaminate their equipment.

Can I strap a couple of salesmen to the copier as I throw it in?

As long as you drain their blood first so it won't contaminate the machine.

I would think that a giant toner cloud would present a bit of an explosion risk.

All it would take is one tiny spark, and *KABLOOIE!*

I have a few I'd like to donate to the cause.

You can see a little toner puff out in the very beginning of video. But they must of took most of it out before. The other poster is right, toner is very combustible. Static electricity with a spark just don't mix.
Remember back when dry powder machines first started to replace the liquid models. Another tech at a company I worked for was using a regular vac to clean up toner and BANG! First and last toner explosion I ever saw. It blew the back out of a small handheld hoover. I don't even think there was a vacuum made for toner at that time.

The other thing about that video is that wire on spool I'm assuming is for binding. That was only thing the blades couldn't chew up and spit out
