Ummmmmm. The US power grid is almost all privately owned. If the government forced them to go nuclear you would be whining about government over reach.

Ummmmmm. The US power grid is almost all privately owned. If the government forced them to go nuclear you would be whining about government over reach.

It may be privately owned here in California but those "private owners" are public utility companies. Two of the big 4 here in California are owned by cities/county governments, LA Power and Water and San Diego Gas & Electric. All gas & electric companies are regulated and controlled by the California Public Utility Commission. The actual grid is controlled by the State of California.

As for Nuclear, the utility companies would like to be able to construct new nuclear plants but the state refuses to license them.

Not denying climate change . Denying the "man made" narrative of climate change . Blaming just about every natural disaster on climate change im sure will scare any low informed individual .
