    What's your favorite browser?

Just curious, but what browser does everyone use most frequently? I pretty much don't use anything but Opera unless I have to go to the Canon support website (wtf is up with that? No FF, Opera, only IE???) Anyway, let us in on your favorite.

/yes, even add-ons for IE count, if you have to

Firefox all the way for me, I've even installed it on my work laptop for when Tessa decides it doesn't like IE, which is nearly every time I try and use it.

Firefox seems a bit more stable when using the in-house manual system as well, full of PDF's and the like.

I just like the way Firefox works more, I think. Personal preference most likely!

I agree, Firefox is the best I've used. I used to use IE in it various versions and had trouble all the time.

Firefox is more stable, reliable and I have found user friendly.

Ditto on the Firefox. I use it on my Windows computers, but I also have it on my MAC running on Leopard. Firefox for MAC is recent, I was using Camino ... don't care for Safari.

As for Windows, IE is ok but not near as nice as Firefox.

I only use IE when I have to. Some site don't work with other browsers. But mainly I use FF 3. There is a BIG problem with FF3 with bookmarks. One minute their there, and the next, Gone like the wind. Lots of posts on different boards about it. I liked FF2 best, but I got tired of all the annoying upgrade popups.

Firefox for me. Up until ~6 months ago the Copystar web interface pages did not work properly with firefox and for those I used IE. Now since some firmware ungrades it makes no difference.

Even when I don't use IE, I still get the error messages about it shutting down for one reason or another. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yah, figured FF would be most peoples choice. Opera is the only one I deal with, usually, but I know that it takes a lot of getting used to if moving from other browsers. FF 3 works well, of course, but I'm not a fan of how it downloads things, but I love Opera's way of doing it, again a personal preference deal. Google Chrome is actually a pretty functional browser, clean to look at also, but still pretty untested. Safari, ehh, not a fan. IE, good lord someone put it out of it's misery. True, probably 99% of websites are compatible with it but it's slow, easy to corrupt (I don't care what you do to it or how you protect it) and allows little customizations compared to the other browsers.

Not to mention one last thing, although both are included in virtually all Linux OSes now, Opera and FF both work equally well, but FF seems to open and load pages slower...this is the inverse on my Windoze boxes, though, were FF loads faster, although Opera displays WAY faster any page I surf to.

Since FF appeared on market, I use him since. There was a minor bugs but overal performance, many addons witch can be easly integrated and simplicity got my attention.

I didnt try google crome and since it has their toolbar and toolbars are full of holes, viruses and trojans i think i never will

Opera....not bad but fox logo is the BEST! afterall it dousent have nothing whit micro$oft

Firefox is definately the best - There is a plugin called IE-Tab that can use the IE rendering engine within a firefox tab. You can manually force it to switch, or set certain URL's to automatically switch. Other than a tiny icon in the status tray there is no way to tell which engine is being used - I can totally delete all the IE shortcuts off a windows system, start firefox, go to windowsupdate.com, get all the patches, service packs, etc. totally seamlessly, and never have to deal with IE's crappy interface.

...but my personal computer has been running Linux for almost 3 years, so I don't have to worry about being WinDozed anyway.

One more thing, then I will shut up.

I forgot to mention the tweaking you can do with Firefox. If you are a geek (like me) then you will appreciate about:config

Type that in FF address bar, but be careful not to make any changes unless you are absolutely sure you know what you are doing.
