Just use the force. It always works for me. A good strong magnet, couple of passes and shazaam! LOL. Dont try this at home children...
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

You are all missing the point Mr Spock did not have a clue it was Scotty who would have to sort the technical stuff out. Just get him a big bag of"dilithium crystals" and its all sorted

True Scotty could fix anything with dilithium crystals. Wonder what they would do to a Konica Minolta copier? or any copier?

maybe he could make it out of transparent aluminum and make it copy at warp factor nine! If he had trouble with tribbles (Thats why we're in business, by the way, too many tribbles), he could just go back in time by sling-shotting the copier around the sun and to fix it.

Scotty is the coolest. Another reason I became a tech. Although, I know I'm not the equivalent by a longshot, everyone here thinks I'm supposed to be. I had to put a sign up in my department, "One miracle per day per person." They all know there are no exceptions to the aforementioned rule.

The impossible is easy, miracles take a little longer...but I wouldn't bother with the sling shot, just aim it into the sun!!!
