I agree you are probably correct in stating that Maria Butina was not connected directly to President Trump. Trump likely did not know she existed.

What the confession of Maria Butina proves is that Russia was actively trying to influence the 2016 Presidential election with the goal of a Democrat defeat. Maria Butina was only one of many avenues of attack.

yes there were many avenues.. some were directed for trump... some against..
but that STILL doesn't explain how the Clinton Crime Family Foundation GAINED $145 mil from a russian bank RIGHT after the Uranium One Deal... or the monies funneled from her campaign thru a law firm to Steele for that BS 'dossier'... or how Obama's FBI - DOJ - CIA IGNORED the clear violations with the Mail Server - Bernie Sanders - DNC Server/IT guy

This thread is not about Trump or Clinton. It is to track the actions of Russia and their efforts to influence the 2016 US Presidential election and the repercussions thereafter. The American public will vote again in 2020 as to who they believe deserves to be the next President. Fortunately, by all accounts Russian efforts in the 2018 mid terms elections were significantly reduced by both the American gov't and private social media companies being on guard against new attacks.

In many ways, America lost an electronic Pearl Harbour in 2016.

This thread is not about Trump or Clinton. It is to track the actions of Russia and their efforts to influence the 2016 US Presidential election and the repercussions thereafter.

so the fact that Hillary had a NON Government approved server, and it has been PROVEN it was NOT secured to said government standards. And the fact that not only Hillary but Obama - Mills - Abedine - Rodney Danger ALL used/had access to it. And then there is the 5-7 different foreign gov'ts also withdrew information due to lax security from said illegal server...
Now let's talk about the podesta emails... the dumbass opened and REPLIED to a phishing email, that gave the sender access to his mail and HDD... why? AGAIN lax security.
On to the DNC server... Something they did allow the FBI inspect them.. but rather hired a third party security firm that had ties to the DWS Paki IT group she hired ( other members of the dem congress used them on her GTG backing Awan ) Awan was caught shipping MILLIONS out of the country.. and was indicted in several real estate swindles.
