    Casual or business dress?

Just sitting here doing nothing and got to wondering what the going dress code is nowadays. Does anyone still have to wear coat and tie still?. I remember the day when that's what I had to wear. Now that I work for myself I get to be more casual.

No tie & jacket any time in the last 20 years. Polo shirts mostly for the last 20 years. Most recently short sleeved cotton gray shirts with the company embroidery. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Business casual here.

Polo shirts only allowed if they have the company logo, otherwise they must be button down.

Not that way years ago. Ties and sport coats were required until the mid to late 90s.

Golf shirt, black casual pants (hides toner the best) and black safety shoes. The safety shoes are my choice. So, long story short business casual ish.

It's been almost 2 years since retiring, and my 'uniform' for the day is a tee-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes - love this time off, it's worth it after working more than 50 years.

Myself I wear long sleeve button down with company name and colored jeans I get from Lee's and casual shoes. The company I broke in with in 1979 still has their guys in suits. When it's 98 outside and 70% humidity that's the last thing you want to be wearing. Most of my customers are in the banking industry and many of them are in jeans or khakis.

I never understood the formal wear. We're basically mechanics. I'd be confused if my hvac guy showed up in his Sunday best.

Yes, early retirement, because my wife wouldn't allow me to retire before her-so I had to wait.
I miss the new technology, I try to keep up to date, but I am having a harder time as time goes by.😉🍻

You're right about that. A mechanic making mechanic pay expected to dress like executives? Never made sense to me either.

Shirt, black trousers (wish they made some self-healing black low wear fibre for knee caps and actual knees themselves). All of us should be given Knighthood as no one kneels more on one knee than a copier engineers.

Under the shirt all of us here at CTN wear one of these anyway

I think it has something to do with putting new rubber on your car.

Everyday with tie, shirt and black trousers to look "professional"...
