I remember when they were the Huston Oilers and had the same sort of record that the Bengals have today, which is another point - How in hell did the Bengals head coach keep his job this year after the teams results over the previous couple of seasons?!?

Something else you can take with you to your blue states - your taxes. My dad lives in a blue state and pays more just in property taxes than all of my house payment/car note/taxes combined. The whole reason we're in such a mess right now is because the Elephants have been acting like Jackasses... in more ways than one - we don't need to move it further left.

Very easy: the Bengals are so cheap they wait for a coach to be in the final year of their contract to fire them. That way they're not on the hook for more than the remainder of that year.
This is the team that scrimps on coaching and scouting and then goes and throws money down the drain on Akili Smith or David Klingler. Go figure...

Well let me tell you, it is not the coach, it is the owner. Marvin's first couple of years here, he was allowed to run the team. We got better. Then the owner took over and we got worse. All I can say is Mike Brown is not his Dad!!

Ah the old "I see what the coach does each week so it can't be that hard" game

Many a team has played and as we see, many a team hath lost. Here endith the sermon...
